5th February 2018: Central Railway to Run 22 Special Trains for Holi
To clear the extra rush of passengers during Holi Festival and the long weekend, Central Railway will run 22 special trains. 6th February 2018: Railways to completely phase out Diesel Locos in India by 2022

7th February 2018: Railways to Work Extensively on Upgrading Tracks
After digging deep to find the root cause of growing train accidents, railway officials concluded that the replacement of old tracks with the new ones should be done on priority.
