The Indian Railways has announced the cancellation and diversion of several major trains owing to the ongoing non-interlocking and other maintenance work.
Passengers planning on travelling via the national transporter in the coming days are requested to make note of the affected train schedules.

> Due to the upgradation work between Thane – Diva Junction section of Mumbai Division, the Central Railway cancelled the following trains on –
22nd January
Train no. 17618 Nanded – Mumbai Tapovan Express
Train no. 11030 Kolhapur – Mumbai Koyna Express
Train no. 12140 Nagpur – Mumbai Sewagram Express
23rd January
Train no. 22119 Mumbai CSMT – Karmali Tejas Express
Train no. 22120 Karmali – Mumbai CSMT Tejas Express
Also, a few trains have been short terminated and short originated due to this.

> Due to the non-interlocking work at the Sujatpur Station of the North Central Railway, the following trains have been cancelled –
Train no. 12505 Kamakhya – Anand Vihar Express will remain cancelled on 25th January.
Train no. 12506 Anand Vihar – Kamakhya Express will remain cancelled on 27th January.

> The South East Central Railway has decided to cancel the following trains due to the non-interlocking work at the Nigaura Station of Bilaspur division –
Train no. 20971 Udaipur – Shalimar Express will remain cancelled on 22nd and 29th January.
Train no. 20972 Shalimar – Udaipur Express will remain cancelled on 23rd and 30th January.

> For the construction of a road overbridge at Magra Station of Howrah Division, the following trains are cancelled –
From Howrah: Train Nos. 37827, 37829 and 37655.
From Memari: Train No. 37656.
A few trains have been diverted owing to this situation, including –
Train no. 13028 Azimganj – Howrah Express (JCO 20th to 25th January, excluding on 22nd January) will be diverted via Dankuni from Barddhaman with stoppage at Kamarkundu Station.
Train no. 19607 Kolkata – Madar Express (JCO 20th January) will be diverted via Dankuni – Barddhaman from Dum Dum with stoppage at Dakshineswar, Dankuni and Kamarkundu stations.
Train no. 13137 Kolkata – Azamgarh Weekly Express (JCO 24th January ) will be diverted via Dankuni – Barddhaman from Dum Dum with stoppage at Dakshineswar, Dankuni and Kamarkundu stations.
The Eastern Railway has also decided to short terminate, short originate, reschedule and control certain trains due to the construction work.
