The Western Railway has invited applications for 3612 posts of apprentices. The application process began on 28th May and will continue till 5 PM on 27th June.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicants must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years as of 27th June 2022.
- SC/ST/OBC: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST applicants and 3 years for OBC applicants.
- Persons with Disability (PWD): A relaxation of 10 years is provided to PWD candidates.
- Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit is relaxed up to additional 10 years for ex-servicemen to the extent of the service rendered in the Defence Forces, plus 3 years if they have served for at least 6 months at a stretch.

Educational Qualifications:
The candidate must have completed matriculation or 10th Class in the 10+2 examination system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
They should also have a technical qualification in the form of an ITI certificate affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training or the State Council for Vocational Training in one of these trades:
Fitter, Welder (G/E), Turner, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter (General), Mechanic (DSL), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Programming & System Administration Assistant, Electrician, Electronics Mechanics, Wireman, Mechanic (Refrigeration & AC), Mechanic (LT & Cable), Pipe Fitter, Plumber, Draftsman (Civil) and Stenographer.

SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants don’t have to pay any fee.
