The Central Railway has issued a notification to hire candidates for various posts, including that of General Duty Medical Officer, physician, anesthetist and others.
Eligible candidates who wish to apply for the posts can appear for the walk-in interview on 11th January.

General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) – 10 posts
Total no. of vacancies – 18 posts
Educational Qualification
Specialist: Must have a degree in Medicine (MBBS) recognized by the Medical Council of India.
General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): Must have a degree in Medicine (MBBS) as mentioned in part II of the third schedule.
Age Limit
The age limit of the candidates appearing for the walk-in interview should not exceed 53 years as on 1st January, 2022. Upper age limit relaxation will be given to the reserved category candidates as per government norms.
Remuneration
Physician – Rs.75000 per month
Anesthetist or Intensivist – Rs.95000 per month
General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO) – Rs.95000 per month
Date and Place:
Candidates will have to appear for a walk-in interview on 11th January at Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, Central Railway, Byculla, Mumbai.
