As per the report, this system reduces the temperature by 7-8 degrees Celsius at the platform. This mist cooling system, unlike an air-conditioning system, helps to keep the outdoors cool at a very less cost. More importantly, the system can be installed easily.
Earlier this year, the Mathura railway station was given a new makeover under the Railway Ministry’s station beautification and redevelopment program. The Indian Railways targeted to complete the redevelopment work of 68 railway stations as soon as possible.
