1. Railways resumes train services in Tripura
In order to ease the commute for passengers of Tripura, the Northeast Frontier Railways has resumed train services in Tripura with proper health protocols.

All new IRCTC Special trains are now available on ixigo:
2. A special train between Silchar and Trivandrum Central
A weekly special train (02508/02507) will start running between Silchar and Trivandrum Central leaving Silchar w.e.f. 08.10.2020 and from Trivandrum Central w.e.f. 13.10.2020. These trains will stop at Malda Town, Pakur, Rampurhat, Bolpur Shantiniketan, etc.

3. Gorakhpur-Secunderabad-Gorakhpur special train begins from today!
With full reserved accommodation, train number 02589/02590 Gorakhpur-Secunderabad-Gorakhpur special train starts to run from today till further notice.

4. Howrah-Mumbai mail to run daily from today!
As per the notification issued by the railways, the Howrah-Mumbai train will be operational daily from October 6, while the Mumbai-Howrah mail will be operational daily from October 8. Apart from this, the Howrah-Ahmedabad train will run from October 7, 2020.

5. Frequency of Howrah-Delhi-Howrah Special (via Patna) and Howrah-Delhi-Howrah Special (via Dhanbad) increased
Indian Railways has increased the frequency of train number 02303/02304 Howrah-New Delhi-Howrah Special (via Patna) and train number 02381/02382 Howrah-New Delhi-Howrah Special (via Dhanbad).
