The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) in Mumbai has announced 3591 vacancies for apprentices who wish to work with the Western Railways. Eligible candidates can apply for posts on rrc-wr.com, and the application deadline is 5 pm on June 24, 2021.
In the official notification, candidates have been advised to submit their applications well before the deadline. This will avoid any last-minute errors due to heavy load on the website near the closing date.

Search TrainsTo be eligible to apply, candidates must have completed 15 years of age and should not have completed 24 years of age as on June 24. An upper age limit relaxation has been provided for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, as well as ex-servicemen.
Candidates must also have passed matriculation or class 10 by May 18 this year, securing a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
Along with this, technical qualifications are required in the form of an ITI certificate affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training or the State Council for Vocational Training, in one of these trades:
Fitter, Welder (G&E), Turner, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter (General), Mechanic (DSL), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Wireman or Electrician, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic, Plumber, Draftsman (Civil), Stenography (English).
The online application fee is set at Rs 100. Women and SC/ST/PWD applicants do not have to pay this fee. The final list of apprentices who will go into training will be based on a merit list, as there is no written test or viva in the selection process.
