The fares of Vande Bharat Express or Train 18 have been reduced days before its supposed flag off. The semi-high speed train was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi yesterday.
Earlier, the cost of an air-conditioned chair car ticket for a Delhi-Varanasi ticket had been fixed at Rs.1,850, while the fare of the executive class was fixed at Rs.3,520.
Book TrainsAfter the recent change, the fares have been fixated at Rs.1,760 for the chair car ticket while the executive seats will be charged Rs.3,310 for the same distance.

A railway order said that for the return journey, the chair car tickets are priced at Rs.1,700, while the executive car tickets are priced at Rs.3,260. Both the fares are inclusive of the catering charges.
