Prime Minister Narendra Modi just gave us some major travel goals!
Addressing India on the 73rd Independence Day celebration at the Red Fort, he asked the upper-middle class to travel more often and visit at least 15 domestic destinations by 2022.
In his speech, he said, “By 2022, before India celebrates its 75th year of independence, I would like to request that all of you should travel to at least 15 local tourist destinations.”

As per reports, Indians took 1.8 billion domestic trips last year and if everyone takes up this challenge, there would be 18.75 billion trips or 6.25 billion in one year. Visiting different destinations will boost tourism in these areas and automatically lead to better facilities.
