The structure showcases the cultural and historical richness of the state of Tamil Nadu.

As per the reports, the columns of the new terminal are artfully designed to resemble palm trees, while the ceilings are decorated with motif lights that reflect the traditional Kolam (Rangoli) patterns of South India. The roof design draws inspiration from Bharatnatyam, a classical dance form.

This state-of-the-art terminal will cater to increasing air traffic in Tamil Nadu and offer greater convenience to passengers.
