PM Narendra Modi flagged off Vande Bharat trains on five new routes yesterday from Bhopal’s Rani Kamlapati Railway Station.

These five new trains will run on routes including Bhopal–Jabalpur, Hatia–Patna, Dharwad–Bengaluru, Khajuraho–Bhopal–Indore, and Madgaon–Mumbai. With this, the total number of semi-high-speed blue-white trains in India has reached 23.

As of now, a total of 18 Vande Bharat Express trains are operational across the country, with the Tejas Express temporarily replacing the Bilaspur–Nagpur Vande Bharat train.
