Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation today at 9:00 AM and urged the entire nation to cooperate during this time of distress and help fight coronavirus.
He also asked the citizens to switch off all the lights of their homes on 5th April at 9 PM for 9 minutes, and just light a candle or diya or use mobile’s flashlight and stand in their balcony or doors to mark our fight against coronavirus.
Corona update —
The total number of COVID-19 cases have taken a huge spike in the last 24 hours. The total number of active cases in the country stand at 2000+ and the death toll at 53, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare’s website. Also, 256 people have recovered from this virus till now.
As the coronavirus cases in India are increasing at a high rate, let’s do our bit by staying indoors and following the protocol.
