The number of pilgrims performing the Amarnath Yatra crossed the 2 lakh mark in just 16 days, the highest in the last 4 years.

According to officials, since July 1, a total of 2,05,083 pilgrims have offered their prayers at the shrine cave of Amarnath in South Kashmir Himalayas.

Today, another batch of 4,584 devotees left Jammu for the valley. 1972 yatris left Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas for Baltal while 2,612 for Pahalgam base camp.
Note: Amarnath Yatra will conclude on 15th August coinciding with the Shravan Purnima festival.
