Billed as IRCTC luxurious train, Maharajas’ Express is an opulent hotel-on-wheels.
Currently, the states of Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Karnataka have their own super luxurious tourist trains. Odisha is the latest state to say yes to its own Maharajas’ Express.
The development came after Indian Railways, in an effort to boost tourism, proposed to 15 states in February 2018 to have tourist luxury trains like Maharaja Express, Palace On Wheels, etc.
As per the plan, Railways is ready to provide coaches to Odisha at reasonable rates. Travellers can not only check the PNR status but also book their tickets at a great price on ixigo.
