From introducing automated thermal scanners to launching automated ticket checking and entry management systems, Railways has taken every step necessary to stop the spread of the virus.

To further enhance the safety of the passengers, Railways has launched a robot named ‘Captain Arjun’. Arjun stands for Always be Responsible and Just Use to be Nice. The robot is being launched to intensify the screening and surveillance.

Captain Arjun is equipped with

1– Motion Sensor
2– PTZ camera (Pan, Tilt, Zoom Camera)
3– One Dome Camera
4– Inbuilt siren, motion-activated spotlight H-264 Processor
5– Inbuilt internal storage for recording
6– Sensor-based sanitizer and mask dispenser
7– Floor sanitization facility with good battery backup
8– Rugged wheels that can move in all sort of surfaces
