Not an accident, Kanpur Train Tragedy was a terror attack

On 21st November last year, the entire nation was mournful by the news of train accident near Kanpur, which took lives of 151 innocent people and 200 were left injured. Now another shocking news came on Tuesday afternoon when it was announced that the incident is said to be planned and executed by the Pakistan’s external spy agency ISI.

The Bihar police on Tuesday arrested three suspects on charges of involvement in the incident. These three criminals, Umashankar Patel, Motilal Paswan and Mukesh Yadav were caught at Motihari on the Indo-Nepal border. It is believed that they executed the plan by placing a cooker bomb on the railway tracks near Ghorasahan. The three accused have confessed that they are working for an ISI agent based in Dubai.

After a lot of probing, one of them has revealed his involvement in planting explosives to derail the Indore-Patna Express and Ajmer-Sealdah Express trains near Kanpur last year.  Earlier this year on January 1st, a major train accident was foiled by the railway patrolling staff who detected 3 fishplates and 50 elastic rail clips on the tracks between  Kalyanpur and Mandhana stations in the Farrukhabad-Kanpur Anwarganj section.

This shocking disclosure has exposed the vulnerability of railways towards any terrorist activities. Hope our forces find the cause behind the derailments and ensure that we don’t lose innocent lives again.
