Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit:
Candidates must be at least 15 years old, and not older than 24 years, as of 1st April 2022.
Educational Qualifications:
- The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination or its equivalent (under the 10+2 examination system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognised board.
- They should also hold a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the concerned trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), or a Provisional Certificate issued by NCVT or State Council for Vocational Training.

How to Apply?

- Visit the Northeast Frontier Railway’s official website.
- Go to “General Info” and then to “Railway Recruitment Cell GHY”.
- Click on the link for “Online Application for Engagement as Act Apprentices”.
- Read the instructions and then click on “New Registration”.
- Now, select a post, upload the required documents and pay the fees.
- Download the form and take a printout.
Application Fee
The application fee is ₹100 (non-refundable).
2) The Western Railway has invited applications for 3612 posts of apprentices.
The application process began on 28th May and will continue till 5 PM on 27th June.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. The applicants must be at least 15 years old and not older than 24 years as of 27th June 2022.
2. SC/ST/OBC: Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST applicants and 3 years for OBC applicants.
3. Persons with Disability (PWD): A relaxation of 10 years is provided to PWD candidates.
4. Ex-Servicemen: Upper age limit is relaxed up to additional 10 years for ex-servicemen to the extent of the service rendered in the Defence Forces, plus 3 years if they have served for at least 6 months at a stretch.
Application fee: ₹100 (SC/ST/PWD/Women applicants don’t have to pay any fee).
