To get free cancellation, how many hours before the train departure do I need to cancel my booking?
It is advised that you cancel your booking at least four hours before the scheduled departure of the train or before the chart preparation (whichever is earlier) to get a full refund.
How will I receive the full refund amount and how many days does it take for the refund to be credited?
If you’ve opted for free cancellation, then the refund will be initiated automatically and credited to the original mode of payment within 7 working days (from the day of cancellation).
Does ixigo assured guarantee a full refund if I cancel the booking?
In case of booking cancellation, only the ticket fare will be refunded. Other charges like ixigo fee, IRCTC convenience fee, payment gateway charges and free cancellation charges are non-refundable.
I have opted for ixigo assured but the train has been cancelled. What happens now?
In this case, travellers do not need to cancel their booking manually. IRCTC will automatically initiate a refund which will be credited back to the original mode of payment. Please note that this excludes the IRCTC cancellation fee, agent charges, free cancellation charges and payment gateway charges.

What will I get as a refund when a waitlisted ticket booked under ixigo assured is automatically cancelled?
In this case, travellers are eligible for a ‘base fare’ refund on waitlisted auto-cancelled tickets. Please note that this excludes the IRCTC cancellation fee, agent charges, free cancellation charges and payment gateway charges.
The above policy is also applicable in case your waitlisted tatkal ticket booked under ixigo assured gets cancelled.
Zero payment gateway charges on train bookings made via UPI and CRED Pay
You read that absolutely right! If you pay via UPI and CRED Pay for your train booking on ixigo, then you pay ZERO payment gateway charges. This is valid for all train bookings!

2. Sign in to your IRCTC account with your IRCTC user ID.
