New Zealand’s travel ban for India
With India seeing a surge in coronavirus cases, New Zealand has announced temporary travel ban for Indian travellers. The suspension will take effect from 11th April to 28th April.
The decision was taken after New Zealand recorded 23 new positive COVID-19 cases at its border, of which 17 were from India.
During this time, the government will look at risk management measures to resume travel.
Nepal releases simplified guidelines for visitors

Odisha makes COVID negative report mandatory for entry into state
To battle rising COVID-19 cases in India, the Odisha government made it mandatory for people coming to the state by train, bus, aeroplane, waterways or in private vehicles to produce a COVID-19 RT-PCR negative test report conducted not earlier than 72 hours before boarding or a valid COVID-19 vaccination certificate (complete 2 doses of vaccination) will be exempted from quarantine.
These new rules will be effective from 12th April.
