Clone trains will continue in 2021
The South Western Railway has shared a report confirming that clone trains will continue to operate in 2021, as their launch during COVID-19 has proven successful in meeting passenger demand.
Clone trains are the duplicate trains run by the Indian Railways on high-pressure routes, where the rate of waitlisted tickets are above 150 per cent. The Railways started 40 pairs of clone trains this September, and the existing schedules should extend into 2021 until further notice. Keep following our updates to know of any changes 🙂
We wish our passengers a happy journey!
