Fly from Mysuru to Mangaluru in an hour
Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India, has announced a new Mysuru-Mangaluru-Mysuru flight route that will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This schedule is effective from December 11, 2020.
Flight 9I 532 will depart from Mysuru at 11.15am and land in Mangaluru by 12.15pm. Meanwhile, flight 9I 533 will take off from Mangaluru at 12.40pm and arrive in Mysuru by 1.40pm.
More Mumbai-Goa flights from next month
Alliance Air is also starting daily direct flights between Mumbai and Goa from December 04. Flight 9I 657 will take off from Mumbai at 7:05pm and reach Goa by 8.30pm, while flight 9I 658 will depart Goa at 9pm and arrive in Mumbai by 10:15pm. The inaugural one-way fares start from Rs 2957.
All flyers from Goa must carry a negative RT-PCR test report with them before boarding, and show it to airport officials upon arrival. This is as per the new air, road and rail travel guidelines issued by the Maharashtra government, which you can read about here.
Bareilly Airport will connect to Lucknow and Delhi
The Airports Authority of India (AAI) is developing a civil air terminal at Bareilly for an estimated cost of Rs. 70 crore. Flight operations to Lucknow and New Delhi will start from here, as part of India’s UDAN scheme which boosts regional connectivity.
Bareilly Civil Enclave will span 2,520 square metres, and have a peak hour capacity of 150 passengers.

The enclave is being built at the Indian Air Force’s Trishul Air Base, which lies 6 kilometres north of Bareilly in Izzatnagar.
Hong Kong bans Air India for the 5th time
Flights on the New Delhi-Hong Kong leg operated by Air India have been banned for arrival after a few passengers tested positive on landing in Hong Kong. The ban will be in place till December 3, 2020, and is the fifth of its kind for this route since August this year.
President Ram Nath Kovind boards inaugural Air India One flight
The President boarded Air India One B-777 today for its maiden journey to Chennai this morning. He is visiting the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Vaari Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, to offer prayers.
