The Indian Railways is likely to launch the Vande Bharat Express train on an all-new route. The premium service will soon be connecting New Delhi and Jaipur. This will result in travel time between these two cities getting reduced from four hours to just two hours.

The Vande Bharat Express consists of many modern facilities such as Kavach technology, sliding doors, mobile charging points, attendant call buttons, bio-toilets, personalised reading lights, automatic entry and exit doors, and CCTV cameras.
There are eight Vande Bharat Express trains already running on various routes in the country with the latest being the Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam service. The other Vande Bharat Express trains which are in operation connect these cities: New Delhi–Varanasi, New Delhi–Katra, New Delhi–Amb Andaura, Bilaspur–Nagpur, Gandhinagar Capital–Mumbai, Chennai–Mysuru and Howrah–New Jalpaiguri.
