Search TrainsPM Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the Saharsa–New Delhi Amrit Bharat Express from Madhubani on April 24. This will be Bihar’s second Amrit Bharat Express, expected to run via Darbhanga and Sitamarhi. The train rake has already arrived in Bihar, and the Samastipur Railway Division has completed its trial run.
Meanwhile, preparations are in full swing for the launch of the Vande Bharat Express between Saharsa and New Delhi, which will operate on a different route. This high-speed service is part of the expanding fleet of Vande Bharat trains and is designed to offer a faster, more comfortable travel experience. This Vande Bharat train route includes Barauni, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Patliputra, DDU (Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction), and Lucknow, offering faster connectivity to the capital.
Railway officials have confirmed that the Vande Bharat Express will complete the journey from Muzaffarpur to Delhi in just 13 hours, providing a quick and convenient travel option for passengers across the region.
