Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) recently announced the reopening of its domestic passenger Terminal 1 from October 20 at midnight. Some of the airlines that will operate from Terminal 1 are Go First, AirAsia India, Star Air, IndiGo and TruJet.

The Mumbai Airport authorities decided to suspend flight services from Terminal 1 in mid-April after the deadly second wave of the pandemic hit the country and moved all flight operations to Terminal 2, which is largely used for international flights.
To start with, Terminal 1 will cater to approximately 156 flights daily, while approximately 396 flights will be operated from Terminal 2.

The resumption of services via Terminal 1 from October 20 will help enhance passenger safety and will further ensure social distancing.
