The operator of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Adani Group, confirmed that flight operations will be suspended from 11 AM to 5 PM on the aforementioned date.
The airport has already rescheduled the flights that were to run during this time. Passengers are, however, still advised to exercise necessary caution and check with their airlines about the status of their flights.

Why is the airport being closed?
The step has been taken to carry out repair and maintenance work on both the runways. This is a part of the routine annual preventive measures that are taken after the monsoon season.
