More Than 30 Trains Cancelled, Diverted on Major Routes

Multiple divisions of the Indian Railways announced the cancellation, regulation and diversion of several services. This decision was taken because of maintenance activities and other constraints. 

Passengers are requested to take note of the affected train schedules and make necessary arrangements accordingly. Scroll down for further details.

> The East Central Railway notified about the partial cancellation of four trains. 

  • Train no. 15076 Tanakpur–Shaktinagar Triveni Express will short terminate at Chopan from 7th to 28th February. 
  • Train no. 15075 Shaktinagar–Tanakpur Triveni Express will short originate at Chopan from 8th February to 1st March. 
  • Train no. 15074 Tanakpur–Singrauli Triveni Express will short terminate at Chopan from 8th to 27th February. 
  • Train no. 15073 Singrauli–Tanakpur Triveni Express will short originate from Chopan from 9th to 28th February.

> The Western Railway released a list of six services that will be cancelled due to non-interlocking work.

> In a series of tweets, the Southern Railway shared details about the following changes in train schedules: 

  • Train no. 16731 Palakkad Jn.–Tiruchendur Express will be cancelled from 9th February to 7th March. 
  • Train no. 16732 Tiruchendur–Palakkad Jn. Express will be cancelled from 9th February to 6th March. It will be partially cancelled between Tiruchendur and Madurai Junction on 7th March. 
  • Train no. 16343 Thiruvananthapuram Central–Madurai Junction Amritha Express will be partially cancelled between Dindigul and Madurai Junction from 8th to 28th February, and on 3rd and 4th March. 
  • On 1st and 2nd March, train no. 16343 will be partially cancelled between Palakkad and Madurai Junction. 
  • Train no. 16344 Madurai Junction–Thiruvananthapuram Central Amritha Express will short originate from Dindigul from 9th to 28th February, and on 1st, 4th and 5th March.
  • On 2nd and 3rd March, train no. 16344 will short originate from Palakkad Junction.

> The South Western Railway confirmed that 19 services will be cancelled, diverted and regulated in view of maintenance work in the zone.
