More Than 25 Trains Launched, Restored! Several Routes Covered

Travelling by train soon? Here’s some great news for you! 

Multiple zones and divisions of the Indian Railways announced launching of special trains and restoration of others. This step will help the national transporter accommodate a higher number of passengers in the coming months.

New Trains

> The South Central Railway (SCR) will run a special train between H.S. Nanded and Guntur. 

Train no. 07630 will depart from H.S. Nanded at 5:30 PM on 12th July, and arrive at its destination at 12:30 PM the next day. 

> The SCR has also decided to launch a pair of services between Hyderabad and Tirupati

  • Train no. 07509 will depart from Hyderabad on 16th, 23rd and 30th July at 4:35 PM, and reach Tirupati at 5:30 AM the following day. 
  • Train no. 07510 will depart from Tirupati on 17th, 24th and 31st July at 11:50 PM, and reach Hyderabad at 12:30 PM the following day. 

> The East Central Railway tweeted about two special trains between Jasidih and Gaya for Shravani Mela

  • Train no. 03654 will depart from Gaya every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and will run from 15th July to 12th August. 
  • Train no. 03653 will depart from Jasidih every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, and will run from 16th July to 13th August.

> The North Central Railway released a list of trains that will be launched and extended in order to aid the devotees who are attending the ongoing Mudiya Purnima Mela, 2022.

Restoration of Trains

> In another tweet, SCR’s Vijayawada Division announced the restoration of four trains

  • Train no. 22851 Santragachi–Mangalore Central Vivek Express will be restored from 14th July. 
  • Train no. 22852 Mangalore Central–Santragachi Vivek Express will be restored from 16th July. 
  • Train no. 22841 Santragachi–Tambaram Antyodaya Express will be restored from 18th July. 
  • Train no. 22842 Tambaram–Santragachi Antyodaya Express will be restored from 20th July. 

> To facilitate greater convenience to its passengers, the North Western Railway has restored the Udaipur City–Mysore Humsafar Express
