Three domestic airlines – IndiGo, Go First, and Akasa Air have announced new flights to and from the airport. The complex was inaugurated by the PM Shri Narendra Modi on December 11.
To facilitate connectivity to the airport, electric buses will be deployed by Kadamba Transport Corporation from Panaji, Margao, and Mapusa.
The new airport will be developed gradually over time and will expand as the travel demand and passenger numbers increase. It will be serving both domestic and international travellers.
