Considering the Sankranti festival rush, the South Central Railway (SCR) zone will run many special trains to ferry passengers from across the country.

1. One way special trains from Narsapur to Secunderabad and Kakinada town to Secunderabad
Train no. 07441, Narsapur – Secunderabad Sankranti special train will depart Narsapur at 20:00 hrs on 17th January and arrive Secunderabad at 06:05 hrs on the next day. Whereas, train no. 07457, Kakinada town – Secunderabad Sankranti special train will depart Kakinada town at 18:00 hrs and will arrive Secunderabad at 05:20 hrs on the next day.

2. 16 ‘CLONE’ Sankranti special train services between Secunderabad and Berhampur
The South Central Railways will operate 16 clone Sankranti special train services in order to serve passengers during the festive season.

3. Sankranti special trains between Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad and Secunderabad –Tirupati
In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during Makar Sankranti, South Central Railways is running 17 trips of 3 special train services between Hyderabad–Visakhapatnam–Hyderabad and Secunderabad–Tirupati.
