The Indian Railways has notified about a change in schedule for several special IRCTC trains due to dense fog in the northern and eastern regions of the country.
While many of the trains have had their frequency reduced, several others have been fully cancelled till the end of February or till the first week of March.
This is being undertaken keeping the safety of passengers in mind.

The North Eastern Railways has reduced the frequency of 8 trains:
> Train no. 02179 Agra Fort – Lucknow Jn. will not be in service on Saturdays and Sundays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 06.02.21, 07.02.21, 13.02.21, 14.02.21, 20.02.21, 21.02.21, 27.02.21 and 28.02.21.
> Train no. 02180 Lucknow Jn. – Agra Fort will not be in service on Saturdays and Sundays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 06.02.21, 07.02.21, 13.02.21, 14.02.21, 20.02.21, 21.02.21, 27.02.21 and 28.02.21.
> Train no. 01803 Jhansi – Lucknow Jn. Special will not be in service on Saturdays and Sundays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 6.02.21, 07.02.21, 13.02.21, 14.02.21, 20.02.21, 21.02.21, 27.02.21 and 28.02.21.
> Train no. 01804 Lucknow Jn. – Jhansi Special will not be in service on Saturdays and Sundays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 6.02.21, 07.02.21, 13.02.21, 14.02.21, 20.02.21, 21.02.21, 27.02.21 and 28.02.21.
> Train no. 05273 Raxaul – Anand Vihar Special will not be in service on Thursdays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 04.02.21, 11.02.21, 18.02.21 and 25.02.21.
> Train no. 05274 Anand Vihar – Raxaul will not be in service on Fridays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 05.02.21, 12.02.21, 19.02.21 and 26.02.21.
> Train no. 02557 Muzaffarpur – Anand Vihar will not be in service on Wednesdays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 10.02.21, 17.02.21 and 24.02.21.
> Train no. 02558 Anand Vihar – Muzaffarpur will not be in service on Thursdays till the end of February. The cancellation dates are 04.02.21, 11.02.21, 18.02.21 and 25.02.21.
The North Central Railways has fully cancelled four trains till the end of February and reduced the frequency of 16 others on various dates. Along with this, the zone has also restored the services of one pair of trains. Check the details in the Tweet below:
