Update 1: Linen and blanket services restored.
In a big relief to passengers, the Northeast Frontier Railway has decided to resume the service of providing linen and blankets in 16 more trains.

Update 2: Special trains between Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri.
In an exciting piece of news, the South Eastern Railway has launched 16 weekly summer special trains between Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri.

Update 3: Summer special trains extended.
In an effort to manage the summer vacation rush, the Western Railway has extended four summer special trains on these routes: Surat–Subedarganj and Bandra Terminus–Gandhidham.
Here’s the official tweet with all the details:
WR extends the trips of two pairs of Summer Special Trains, for the convenience of passengers & with a view to meet the travel demand.

Update 4: Special trains between Hyderabad and Gorakhpur.
Keeping in mind the recent increase in travel, the North Eastern Railway has announced the launch of two superfast summer special trains between Hyderabad and Gorakhpur for the convenience of the passengers.
Details here:
> Train no. 02575 Hyderabad–Gorakhpur Superfast Summer Special will depart every Friday from 1st July to 26th August.
> Train no. 02576 Gorakhpur–Hyderabad Superfast Summer Special will depart every Sunday from 3rd July to 28th August.
Update 5: Gorakhpur–Haridwar Special train.
The North Eastern Railway also announced a special train, departing on 19th June, between Gorakhpur and Haridwar.
