Indian Railways provides the facility of booking ‘Circular Journey Tickets’ which offer unique travel flexibility and are perfect for pilgrimage and sightseeing trip to many destinations. Other than regular routes, these tickets are issued for all journeys which begin and complete at the same station.
The tickets can be purchased for all classes of travel and are applicable for a maximum of 8 break journeys.

How to book your circular journey tickets?
1. Once you have finalised your itinerary, you can contact the Divisional Commercial Manager of the Division of certain major stations to which the journey commencing station belongs.. Then based on your itinerary, the official or station authorities will calculate the cost and inform the station manager of the same in a prescribed format.
2. You may then purchase ‘Circular Journey Tickets’ by presenting the form at the booking office of the station from where you wish to begin your journey. After purchasing the tickets, you must approach the Reservation Office to reserve your accommodation for the various laps of the journey. At the end you will be issued a reserved journey ticket for the same.
Note: For the ‘Circular Journey Tickets’ a concession of 40% is given to male senior citizens and 50% to female senior citizens when travelling a minimum distance of 1000 km.
