In a unique initiative by Indian Railways, a vinyl poster wrapped train, depicting the scenes of Kargil war, was flagged off on 15th July. Families of some of the soldiers who lost their lives during the war were also present on the occasion.

The Delhi-Varanasi Kashi Vishwanath Express train displays a pictorial depiction of the bravery of our soldiers during Kargil war. The train was flagged off by Union Health Minister Harsh Var Minister Harsh Vardhan, Minister of State (MoS) for Railways Suresh Angadi and BJP MP Meenakshi Lekhi.
