Considering the growth in passenger traffic, a new terminal is being constructed at the Kanpur Airport. Fortunately, it is nearing completion and will be operational soon.

Here are the details:
According to news reports, the new terminal is being built at a project cost of Rs 143.6 crore.
Spanning across an area of 6248 square metres, the new terminal building will be able to accommodate around 300 passengers during peak hours. It will have eight check-in counters, passenger conveyor belts, and all other modern amenities.
Important: The development project is expected to be completed by 31st December 2022.
