Shillong is all set to host the fourth edition of its India International Cherry Blossom Festival, and we can’t keep calm!
This event is organised in the mystic Khasi hills of Meghalaya by the Meghalaya Government in association with the Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal, and the Indian Council of Cultural Relations.
Start Date: 13th Nov 2019
End Date: 16th Nov 2019
Here is the event calendar:
Day 1: Opening ceremony followed by fitness art, fashion show, unplugged western music and Nostalgia (the Elvis and Beatles Show)
Day 2: The day will begin with Max Cement Cherry Blossom Run and will continue with various events like drawing and painting competition, dog show, chilli eating competition, storytelling, etc.
Day 3: Miss Cherry Blossom Beauty pageant will be the highlight of the day. Korean film screening, Taekwondo, K-pop concert, cosplay competition and choir music are some other events scheduled for this day.
Day 4: Cherry Blossom Golf Tournament, Bilateral Summit for Socio-Economic Partnership, Baby Football League, stunt bikers, cycling, the Closing ceremony followed by a Rock show will cover the last of the festival.
