Good news! Passengers on IRCTC’s New Delhi-Lucknow Tejas Express will soon be able to withdraw money onboard. That’s right, India’s first private train is all set to have ATM service!
The ATM service will be GPS based. This will ensure that passengers are able to withdraw money at all times. What’s more, passengers will not be charged extra for this service.
Search TrainsAs of now, two ATM machines on the train have been proposed.
The ATMs will be manned by the train guards. The ATMs are expected to be installed in the train before the inauguration, i.e., October 4. The train will start running on the New Delhi-Lucknow route from October 6, 2019.
