In an effort to deal with the upcoming summer rush, the Indian Railways has announced 304 special trains from April.
These are fully reserved special trains for “destinations with high demand”, and will keep receiving additional trips to match any further spike in bookings.

Here’s the complete list of summer special trains, along with their departure dates:
1. The Central Railway has decided to run 182 summer special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mumbai and Ballia/Gorakhpur from April.

2. Mumbai – Shalimar Fully Reserved AC Superfast Special (20 trips)
> Train no. 01019 will leave from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on every Tuesday from 12th April to 14th June.
> Train no. 01020 will leave from Shalimar on every Thursday from 14th April to 16th June.

3. Panvel – Karmali Special (18 trips)
> Train no. 01405 will leave from Panvel on every Saturday from 9th April to 4th June.
> Train no. 01406 will leave from Karmali on every Saturday from 9th April to 4th June.
4. Pune – Karmali Special (18 trips)
> Train no. 01403 will leave from Pune on every Friday from 8th April to 3rd June.
> Train no. 01404 will leave from Karmali on every Sunday from 10th April to 5th June.
5. Pune – Jaipur Fully Reserved AC Superfast Special (20 trips)
> Train no. 01401 will leave from Pune on every Tuesday from 12th April to 14th June.
> Train no. 01402 will leave from Jaipur on every Wednesday from 13th April to 15th June.

6. Nagpur – Madgaon Special (20 trips)
> Train no. 01201 will leave from Nagpur on every Saturday from 9th April to 11th June.
> Train no. 01202 will leave from Madgaon on every Sunday from 10th April to 12th June.
7. The South Central Railway will also run 26 summer special trains between Hyderabad and Gorakhpur.
