The Ministry of Railways has revised the prices of standard meals on static units, including refreshment rooms and Jan Ahaars across the entire Indian Railways Network.

Search TrainsAfter the revision of food prices, passengers will pay Rs.35 for vegetarian breakfast and Rs.45 for the non-vegetarian one.
Likewise, the standard vegetarian lunch will now cost Rs.70 and non-vegetarian lunch Rs.120.
The price of veg biryani will be Rs.70, chicken biryani Rs.100, and snack box Rs.50.
The Railway Ministry has requested the IRCTC and zonal railways to make sure that the price hike leads to an improvement in the quality and hygiene of food at the stations. There will be regular inspections to keep a check on the same.
