IRCTC has decided to reduce the restriction on the reservation time period allotted for opening ARP (Advance Reservation Period), Tatkal AC, and Tatkal non-AC bookings, effective from 28th June 2024.

The restriction on the booking window for ARP reservations has been reduced from 8:00 AM-8:15 AM to 8:00 AM-8:10 AM.
Similarly, the restriction on the booking window for Tatkal AC tickets has been reduced from 10:00 AM-10:15 AM to 10:00 AM-10:10 AM, whereas for non-AC Tatkal tickets, the new window is 11:00 AM-11:10 AM.
Consequently, you can now book train tickets 5 minutes earlier on the ixigo app, increasing your chances of securing confirmed seats.
