As per the latest update, passengers wanting to travel on the special trains will now have to first confirm that they are aware of the ‘quarantine protocol’ of the destination state.
They will be allowed to proceed with their booking only after confirming so.
The Railways has decided to add this feature after a number of passengers of a special Rajdhani from Delhi to Bengaluru refused to go to institutional quarantine for 14 days earlier this week.

Now, before finally proceeding to book the train ticket, a pop-up will appear on the screen asking passengers to confirm that they agree to abide by the health advisory of the destination state. It will be displayed in both English and Hindi.
In case the passenger selects the ‘disagree’ option, he will not be able to book the ticket and will be redirected to the reservation page.
