The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) had resumed the services of the Tejas Express trains on two routes on 17th October 2020 after it was suspended in March due to COVID-19.
While one pair of the luxury passenger trains had been deployed between Lucknow – New Delhi, another pair had been deployed between Ahmedabad – Mumbai.
Now, the Western Railways, after reviewing the running of the Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Tejas Express, has cancelled a few trips of the train on this route.

Book Trains TicketsAccording to the official notification on Twitter, this has been done in view of the coronavirus pandemic and booking trends observed so far.
Therefore, train no. 82901/82902 Ahmedabad – Mumbai Central Tejas Express will now be cancelled on select Tuesdays till March 2021.

However, the 82501/82502 Lucknow – New Delhi Tejas Express will continue as per the schedule until further notice.
