IRCTC announces special trains for Diwali, Chhath Puja

For the convenience of travellers during the festive season, IRCTC has announced a number of special trains.

Here are the details — 

Varanasi – Bhatinda Special

This train will run between Varanasi and Bhatinda and will have a stop at Lucknow. This service is available till November 4th 2019. 

Lucknow – Anand Vihar Terminal Special

This train between Lucknow and Anand Vihar will operate till November 5th. It will run only on Tuesdays.

Varanasi – New Delhi Special

The train will run on October 24th, 27th, 30th and on November 2nd. It will halt at Charbagh.

Book Trains

Gorakhpur – Chandigarh Special

This IRCTC special train will leave from Gorakhpur at 10:10 PM and reach Chandigarh at 2:25 PM. It will run only on Fridays and will be operational till November 1st. 

Lucknow – Nangal Dam Special

This train will continue its operations till November 5th. It will start its journey from Lucknow at 9:30 PM and will reach Nangal Dam at 1:00 PM.

In addition, three more trains have also been announced between Haridwar – Malda, Gorakhpur – Howrah and Howrah – Chhapra.
