IndiGo, India’s largest passenger airline, has added two more international destinations to the list, officially expanding its operations into the Middle-East. The airline will now be flying into Jeddah and Dammam, taking its international destination count to 18.
Book FlightsMumbai-Jeddah and Mumbai-Abu Dhabi flights will start operations from June 5, 2019, whereas the Mumbai-Dammam flights will begin operations from July 5, 2019.
William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said, “We are strengthening Mumbai as a key travel hub for domestic and international connectivity from India. Mumbai is the commercial hub of India and we see great potential connecting the Middle-East with this city, further bolstering the extensive cultural, business and tourism links between India and the Middle East.”
These new flights are aimed at catering to business and leisure travellers while also providing affordable, hassle-free flying options.
Also, given the summer rush, IndiGo has temporarily added approximately 20 new departures each from Mumbai and Delhi, making it easy for customers to find affordable fares during the busy season.
