In an exciting piece of news for train travellers, the Indian Railways has announced several special trains on various popular routes.
Only passengers with confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains adhering to all COVID-19-related norms during boarding and travel.

> In order to clear the extra rush of travellers, the South Central Railway has decided to extend weekly special trains between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad. This includes train nos. 08579, 08580, 08585 and 08586.

> Here’s some good news for passengers who travel from Barmer to Howrah every week. The Eastern Railway has decided to run Howrah – Barmer – Howrah Special twice a week in order to control the rush of passengers.

> For the convenience of passengers, the South Central Railway will start train nos. 07295/07296 between Kakinada Town – Lingampalli – Kakinada Town. These trains will have 1st AC, 2nd AC, 3rd AC and sleeper class coaches. It will be effective from 24th January onwards.
