To improve accessibility and convenience for attendees, the Ministry of Railways is introducing a new circular train route connecting Prayagraj, Ayodhya, and Varanasi.
This route will make travel between these key pilgrimage cities easier and help manage the movement of devotees during the event.
Indian Railways will set up 542 ticketing points at the stations and within the Kumbh Mela area. These counters will have the capacity to sell 9.76 lakh tickets per day. Additionally, 651 CCTV cameras, including 100 equipped with AI-based facial recognition systems, will be installed for enhanced safety and security.
