Indian Railways is planning to launch a new train Uday Express or the Utkrisht Double-Decker Air-conditioned Yatri Express train in February.

Indian Railways introduced its first Uday Express train last year between Coimbatore and Bengaluru. An RCF official said, “The work on shells of the new double-decker train is underway, some coaches are already being painted and the furnishing work will start soon.”
The new all air-conditioned double-decker chair car train is being manufactured by Rail Coach Factory (RCF) Kapurthala.
This new double-decker express train has a Wi-Fi-based infotainment system, automatic food vending machine, GPS based passenger information system and diffused LED lighting.
