Indian Railways is preparing for Kumbh 2019 to be held at Allahabad. To provide a delightful experience to the pilgrims visiting Triveni Sangam in Allahabad, North Central Railway is refurbishing the coaches of prestigious trains connecting Allahabad to different parts of the nation on the theme of Kumbh Mela 2019.
The North Central Railway has recently unveiled the first AC-1 ‘Kumbh Themed’ coach which will be attached to the prestigious PRAYAGRAJ EXPRESS (Train No. 12417/18).
Every compartment of this first AC coach has been painted with beautiful motifs and acrylic patterns. The coach is also equipped with auto odour dispenser system, bio-toilets and high quality lavatory fittings etc.
Rajiv Chaudhry, General Manager, North Central Railway said, “We should have exemplary dedication, alertness and courtesy while serving the passengers at all times & especially during Kumbh Mela. This coach will definitely be helpful in providing comfortable and hygienic experience to devotees during Kumbh 2019.”
