Indian Railways plans to launch a Vande Bharat Express train between Patna and Ranchi soon.

The new Vande Bharat Express is likely to cover a distance of more than 410 km in less than six hours.

During its journey, the train is expected to have stoppages at some important stations including Gaya, Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath, and Bokaro Steel City. Following the pattern of the Vande Bharat train on other routes, the train will be operated six days a week.
The fare of Bihar and Jharkhand’s first Vande Bharat Express will be higher than the fare of the AC chair car class of Jan Shatabdi Express. The fare of the AC chair car in Jan Shatabdi Express between Ranchi and Patna is ₹650.
The Vande Bharat train is currently operational on many routes including New Delhi–Varanasi, New Delhi–Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, New Delhi–Amb Andaura in Himachal Pradesh, Chennai–Mysuru, Nagpur–Bilaspur, Howrah–New Jalpaiguri, Secunderabad–Visakhapatnam, etc.
