Cleanliness Drive: Railways is providing passengers with pouches for spitting
For the first time in Indian Railways, a pouch has been introduced where one can spit multiple times during a train journey. The arrangement has been made to maintain cleanliness during travel and prevent the spread of infection.

Creative Step: Central Railways installs foot-operated hand wash vending machines
This machine dispenses liquid hand wash and water separately in a zero contact manner for passengers. There are 4 stations in 1 machine wherein 4 passengers can simultaneously wash their hands.

Great Job: COVID kiosk at Jhansi Station for dispensing mask, sanitizer and gloves
It is mandatory for passengers to wear masks and follow hand hygiene, hence it is important that COVID-19 protective gear is easily available for passengers within the railway premises.
