The provision of linen was suspended in trains across the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Starting from April this year, however, the Railways has been restoring linen supply in a phased manner.
Continuing the effort to resume this facility in trains, the Western Railway recently confirmed that linens will now be provided in all its 139 pairs of services. This has been made possible by the normalisation of rail operations and ease of COVID-19-related restrictions in India.
